How to Increase Boiler Pressure and Check Your Pressure Gauge

One of the key things you can do to ensure your boiler is running efficiently, is to check the water pressure reading on the front of your boiler.

Some boilers have a digital display to show the pressure and some have a gauge. Either way the optimal pressure is between 1 and 1.5 mark. If the pressure is below this you have turn on the two valves underneath the boiler and increase the pressure to between 1 -1.5. However, be careful to not over-pressurise.
