Oh, how the Alan Turing one hurts me to listen to.
He was charged with gross indecency and givenaa choice between 'medicine' or jail. This 'medicine' was explained to him to help him with his homosexual tendencies ( because on a scale of human devastation, who that specific man was sleeping with was 100% the biggest issue there ), but in short, it chemically castrated him, it served the purpose of basically making sure he was incapable of having sex. His testicle shrunk, he grew breasts and he was in absolute agony I'd imagine, he went to the doctor every month for nine months to check his blood for testosterone.
Absolutely disgusting what they done to him, British Government releasing a lousy apology in 2009 stating he deserved better. That apology was almost as useless as a knitted condom, even more useless than the government during the disaster which was AIDS killing loads of people.
