I got under the ice while scuba diving for Lobsters in February in Maine. The water was very dark and murky. It was borderline freaky! Actually it was very freaky not knowing where the ice opened up to surface. Not really related to this but oh well

This reminds me of that one video of a dude and his wife doing a Russian baptism but his wife almost literally dove in feet first into a river that was moving pretty fast and she immediately was swept under the ice by the current and was never found again. Not even a body or even a body found during spring when it thawed over, she was just gone. It’s sad cause the husband saw her jumó and realized what happened instantly and tried to go in for her but it was a done deal. Remember to not just jump into a frozen river during a Russian baptism, be safe about it and go in slowly if theirs any current under the ice!
