Best video by far! The way he patiently and precisely broke down each method was perfect! Thank you. Must watch video!

it seems that with the looflighter there is no smoke emission... can you confirm me?

Do you have to be careful with the chimney to not put hot coals in a cold grill? Any tips for using the chimney with a kamado? Thanks

I thought I read the instructions when I got my big Joe and it said from a warranty perspective you could only use lump. Not briquettes, not wood. I took it that adding some wood to lump was fine, just not an all wood fire.

Neat to see all the options. I remember when people first started using kamados it was interesting to see the chimney and wadded paper approach. Harbor freight has a pistol style hand torch that only costs $25 and does the job perfectly. It lights anything from camp fires to charcoal. Not as hot as your torch here but at a fraction of the cost and gas I can wait one more minute

I swear lighter fluid is what most people are thinking is "charcoal flavor." No thanks!

There's actually only ONE correct way. According to KJ.

I have had THREE Looflighters. They all failed within a year or two. Junk. Would NEVER buy another.

Something I noticed rather then you mentioned was there is all different sizes of coals when you poured out the bag - the bag I have is 20kg so pouring was not an option once I broke up the some coals it worked really well
