ZENOLOGY Pro has over 3500 acoustic and electronic instrument sounds, including classic analog, vintage digital, and modern hybrid synth sounds. These sounds are crafted using ZENOLOGY Pro’s thousands of oscillator waveforms, 10 different filter types (including JUPITER and other iconic models), and 11 LFO shapes. Then add a huge selection of ready-to-go drum sounds, including famous Roland rhythm machines, and over 90 classic and new effects to inspire your next track or production.

Want even more sounds? You can expand your library to over 7000 ZEN-Core sounds with Model Expansions, Wave Expansions, and ZEN-Core Sound Packs—all available in Roland Cloud.

But if sound design is more your workflow, then ZENOLOGY Pro gives you the deepest access to the ZEN-Core Synthesis System for producers who want to heavily modify existing sounds or design custom sounds from scratch.

With ZENOLOGY Pro, start your sound designs with four oscillators, or “partials”—each with 9 virtual analog waveforms plus Supersaw and Noise to choose from. Then, dig into 1840 PCM waveforms (easily expandable to over 7000), 10 filter types, and 11 LFO shapes, including tempo-synced Step LFOs with 37 curves per step, letting you create sounds you’ve only imagined!

After you’ve designed or tweaked your tones in ZENOLOGY Pro, you can use that sound in your DAW, and ZEN-Core equipped hardware instruments. For owners of FANTOM, JUPITER-X & JUPITER-Xm, MC-101 & MC-707 GROOVEBOX, AX-Edge, and RD-88, download and explore ZENOLOGY Pro and bring new life to your ZEN-Core patches.

Fantastic, now please revise the browser in the next update. Instead of a single window, integrate it in the Zenology interface. It's really no fun if you have to close the browser window to access the DAW again.

I have a problem with loading a new 1.63 update in FL Studio 20, it's just not loading after when I updated it in Roland Cloud, and now I even can't load my old Zenology, how to resolve it?

Great work, very happy with this update.. I would say sort out the preset browser. Opening in a separate window is not helpful at all.

Also please give us the ability to chain effects like Synthmaster One allows and give us a reverb.

Fantastic. Hopefully the preset browser issues has been addressed. In Zenology (so far), the browser was a modal window which blocked access to everything else in the DAW, meaning while browsing presets, there is no way to switch to solo/non-solo mode, transpose or adjust volume etc.

First impression: browsing and tweaking
Classic Juno sounds sound very good to my ears. If not great.
Didn't dive too much into the editing part, but I see potential.
But not all presets (engines) sound like hardware.
For instance, SH-101 sounds like an emulation of their excellent plug-out version.
808 to my ears sounds like another emulation of their own plug-out version with a twist. No audio-out routings. Meaning that you're stuck in the box.

Hey Roland, I am seriously loving Zenology, but I cannot click anywhere else in my DAW while the Zenology's tone browser window is open. Could you please fix that?

Question: for example I dont have fantom keyboards, can i get the exact sound of them using this software?

I'm buying a Roland Jupiter XM it should be arriving in a few days. Obviously I'm already sold on the hardware although the 'virtual analog' jury is still out with me... will decide once I've played around with it. I would say though that having to pay >$200 for the editor that allows me to get into the nuts/bolts of the Jupiter XM is a bit outrageous. Shouldn't some basic version of this software be included with any Zencore product purchase? It's like buying a car and finding a padlock on the engine compartment.

I wonder if I should get the new Juno D6 and this for editing.

Very exciting. Can we buy this as « one time purchase » with all vintage models ?
Or does buying all the vintage models correspond to having Pro version ?

With this, does one even need a new Fantom or Jupiter X for the sound generation?

Hi Roland. Thanks for being receptive. Would it be possible to offer owners of zen core sounds a discount on the zenology. I feel as if the hidden costs are way too high. Spending a 750 quid on an mc 707 to only have to spend 200 on a synth isnt very friendly for users. Some of us live abroad (africa) and /subscription model is just not viable with the current state of our Internet and banking system. Thus would prefer to purchase outright.and with zenology
I feel like I'm buying the same product twice through different sellers for both hardware and synth functionality

Just installed this through the Roland Cloud but for the life of me cannot figure out how to "launch" this? Can some one offer up a solution please?
