In Brazil that's pretty much the only way we eat avocados. I still find it kind of weird the idea of putting avocados in sandwiches or eating it with salt stuff. Unless it's guacamole.

How funny culture influences works… For most people in South America, better saying in Brazil, avocado is a "sweet dish" for shakes ("vitaminas") or just eating with sugar. And savory side is almost unthinkable! heheheh

For the people complaining - avocados are mainly seen as an addition to savory food in the US, perhaps because of their culinary use in Mexican cuisine (where avocados are native to). I’m Mexican and typically it’s eaten with savory foods, yes avocado milkshakes and ice cream are a thing, but not usually people’s go-to.

The filipino guy knows whats up. my Lola used to eat avocado and milk with sugar all the time. Did anyone else eat the avocado like that? I didnt know avocado could be savory until a few years ago when I discovered guac

Avocados are better sweet than savory. What we do at home is mash it up using a fork with milk and just a tiny bit of sugar.

it's a traditional drink in morocco you can add almonds/walnuts too, dates or honey for natural sweetness we usually use regular milk but some people like to add yogurt to it to make it richer trust me it's really good
