NGC6888 The Crescent Nebula

Working in Collaboration with Joe and Russell we gathered 30hrs of HOO data on the Crescent Nebula and have in my opinion produced our best image to date.
It was great fun working as a team and I think the results are fantastic.

Not only is it great for helping to find perfect balance in stiff mounts but it is a fantastic aid to fine tuning your mount for the best guiding. Hey guys!! Has anyone else noticed that super black cloud???? practically dead centre of the Nebula!!?? What on earth is it!!?? That question aside, this image is utterly breath-taking!!!
