My very first PS2 game back in 2002. I loved it. When my daughter was a newborn in 2011. I would play this song as I held her. She'd instantly fall asleep. I'd relive those days forever.

I remember when the Disney channel ran the commercials advertising this game. I remember my whole family gathering to watch me and my brother play it when it finally came out. The first Kingdom Hearts was truly something special. It felt like an adventure like nothing before it. Grand in its design.

Fond memories of bunching up my comforter around myself on the floor getting ready to play this game and listening to this music. 14 years old without a care or worry in the world. Now a 31 year old banker with a wife and 2 kids and 1 on the way. Life is so fast. And as soon as I hear this song I teleport back to that comforter in front of the TV. The nostalgia is bittersweet. Anytime I'm at a tough place in life I always come back to this song and remember the adventure I had playing as Sora. Kingdom Hearts are not perfect games, but they leave you with something that makes you a better person. Everyone ...may your heart be your guiding key ❤❤❤

I hope y'all look at this cause I have a sad story... So when my dad was younger his uncle bought this game for him and watched him play it really ment a lot to him.. The uncle then after died of cancer and this song brings back sad memories for my dad and makes me think about the decisions I make with my loved ones cause you never know when they might not wake up with you. It's also sad cause right before that his dog died of a tumor from cancer and our other dog died same thing in 2023. He also had his newborn baby suffocate so it's been hard for him😢.

I will die on this hill when i say PS2 is the best system to predate its predecessor the PS1. So many good games that seem ahead of its time. So many memories that even though many own the ps5, xbox, or a pc, we never truly forget the games on ps2. Truly a system that is Dearly Beloved that housed the KH games.

i wont be able to know how nostalic this is for the older generations, since im 13, and its 2025.
but i still imagine myself, in the year of 2002, on an christmas night, seeing the game in one of the gifts, putting it into your console, and this suddonly hiting you, unknowingly creating a Portal, that will bring you back to those times, if you ever feel down.

This song gives me two feelings. Calmness, and sadness. I don't know why. I hear it, and suddenly I'm drifted into a state of uncertainty and sorrow. But I know I'm not alone. I have my partner, and my friends. Yet, I still feel lonely. I don't know what to do, but this music emphasizes it. I like it, but it hurts. It hurts. I feel lonely, but at the same time, I feel a weight being lifted off of my shoulders. Like this music carries away my stress and worries, even if I still feel sad. Either way, I want to forever remember this song, and never lose it. Because when that day comes, and I'm left alone at my own stand... I want to play this song, and remind myself of who I really am. Just before I do anything. At least then I can have a bit of happiness before I go.

I'm 30 and never even played this game as a kid (or adult) but it can take me out of a panic attack or put me to sleep...and make me cry almost every time I hear it.

i used to play this on the loading screen of the ps2 after my mom would abuse me as a comfort song then it became the song my wife and i got married to and now its the song we put our 4 month old to sleep with
