How to Flatten Your Mousepad

This works but some tips that might help others;
1) Consider ironing the backside of the mouse pad, even with a cloth. Less likely to do damage this way and might actually flatten better for some.
2) If you don't have an iron with a steam setting, you can use a spray bottle to wet the cloth before ironing. Or even just use a sink. Just get the cloth damp before ironing.
3) If you do use a steam setting on your iron, and you aren't familiar with ironing, be very careful as many irons have issues with metal deposits that lead to brown water coming out the holes and will stain any surface they get on. You should use distilled water in your iron and if the iron has a filtering system make sure to take care of it. You don't want a stain.
4) Be careful. Everyone knows irons are hot, but steam is just as dangerous. Don't pick the iron up and aim the base at you as I've seen irons release steam and water droplets like this and scold people.

Now it's 99.9% flat.
I suggest try using the silk setting just to be safe, as it still uses steam, but is not too hot.

*my way of doing it*: just left the iron on it longer to make the plastic hot, then roll the soften pad to its opposite direction

did that slowly while using my t shirts as a cloth. worked just fine and now i have two flat t shirts too :D

Remember do not let the iron come in direct contact it can damage the pad's surface.

I just did this to my mousepad i just got shipped, and it worked! my mousepad was RGB too and it didnt affect it at all!

Just got my two xl mousepads from amazon and the tip in this video is a huge lifesaver, i'm too ocd to use it curled

Don't use a towel as cloth, a non-stamped cotton t shirt works the best and use plenty of steam

i made a mistake and i cleaned my mouse pad with water and a hard sponge and now my mouse doesn't work well on it :( the laser doesn't register well, am i doomed? or is there a fix?
