Dr. William A. Baumgartner is a thoracic surgeon in Sanibel, Florida. He received his medical degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine and has been in practice for more than 20 years. A member of STS since 1986, Dr. Baumgartner was awarded a Distinguished Service Award by The Society of Thoracic Surgeons at the 51st Annual Meeting in 2015.
