Cream Cheese Mardi Gras Cake Loaves

Hi Friends!
It is Mardi Gras season down here in the south where I live and today I am making some delicious cream cheese Mardi Gras loaves .  Just being transparent with you all, my original plan was to make this into a pound cake, but that requires more eggs. We all know how much eggs cost now right? Ha ha.
I baked them into two loaf pans so that I could have one for the house and take one to work.

Mardi Gras Cake Loaf
Makes 2 cake loaves.

Ingredients

1 3/4 sticks of unsalted ,REAL butter,room temperature
4 ozs soften cream cheese, room temperature
1 2/3 cups sugar
3 eggs, room temperature
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp almond extract
2 cups of AP Flour, sifted (or
1 cup cake flour + 1 cup cake flour,sifted)
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup REAL sour cream, room temperature
1 tsp green food coloring
1 tsp yellow food coloring
1 tsp purple food coloring

Frosting
2 cups powdered sugar, sifted
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
1 tsp vanilla extract
