current website is DOWN for maintenance... wow... lol.. 5 days for maintenance ??(for visa )..
you have to apply thru the consulate in your country.... they provide the alternate web site address..

a woman i have a LDR with, wants to come to the US, she says she has to have $10k in her bank account in order to get a Visa from the Philippines Govt or US Embassy..
is that correct..??

I am planning to take a three months trip to the following countries: Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, and Vietnam. I am planning to stay less than 30 days in each country. I currently live in USA. What is the best way to buy airlines tickets? Am I able to make Philippines as my two way ticket destination and make a 3 months reservation and buy other one way ticket from Philippines to other countries and leave Philippines within the first 30 days but come back to fly back to USA? Hope my question makes sense.
USA to Philippines (two way ticket) September 1 - December 1 but leave Philippines on September 21...
Philippines to Thailand (one way ticket) September 21-October 15
Thailand to Vietnam (one way ticket) October 15- November 2
Vietnam to Indonesia (one way ticket) November 2- November 24
Indonesia to Philippines (one way ticket) November 24
Leave Philippines to USA on December 1 (back using the original 2 way ticket)
AM I able to do that using the 30 day Visa?

The only time they ask for Etravel was when I boarded in LAX. They still have the paper declaration, but didn’t need it because I filled it out onl8ne and they didn’t even ask for it when I got to the Philippines May 11th.

Af ter my 30 days was up I went to extend it cost five thousand five hundred peso for extra month. I then extended another month and that was another five thousand five hundred. Total 3 maths. So for the extra 2 maths was eleven thousand. Be aware you can only extend for one month. Then you have to go back to extend another month if you want to stay three months.

Thank you for the information. I appreciate it.

Hi! Thank you for sharing your knowledge on this matter—it is very helpful! However, I have a question: Is travel insurance required for Italian nationals travelling to the Philippines? Thank you!

Advance Happy Mother's Day to all the people in the entire Philippines, in the entire US and in the entire LEGOLAND in California 🇵🇭 🇺🇸 👍 🙂

Also if you stay 90 days you have to get a alien certificate of registration and if you stay over 6 months you have to get a immigration clearance to leave the country. I lived there 13 months in CDO.

Thank you Jocelyn for sharing your expertise on the subject matter. Next year, Jan ‘25, my wife and I will be going home, for a total of 60 days. We both are US citizens and I still have my old original PI passport but my wife does not (she never had one). From what I’ve read on the Phil. Embassy website in DC, returning Balikbayans or former Filipinos may also enter the Philippines without a visa and stay for a period of one (1) year, provided that they have a passport valid for 6 months beyond the intended stay in the Philippines, and proof of former Philippine citizenship (e.g. old Philippine passport or PSA-authenticated birth certificate). Foreign spouses and their children may also avail themselves of this privilege if traveling with the Balikbayan, subject to a presentation of a proof of affiliation (e.g. marriage certificate for spouse and birth certificate for children).
Jocelyn, do we have to do anything upon landing at NAIA to get our visas? Thanks again and hope to hear from you soon.

I have entered the Philippines three times now in 2022 & 2023. Each time I showed our marriage license and had no issues getting the one year Balikbayan visa. One thing I made sure to do is follow all the requirements that were in place at the time of travel. Why people want to gripe and complain so much I dont know. I enjoyed each visit and will return again in 2024.

I'm a former Filipino citizen (66 yrs old) wish to travel to the Philippines in December with my husband (65 yrs old), as a seniors both of us are not into computer or online business. This etravel find us very stressful, we don't plan to carry a cellphone that will work in the Philippines, our cellphones will only work in the US. Is there any option? Help please. Thanks a lot.

Hi. Thanks for all this good information.
As I am married to a Filipina. Is it best to petition for a permanent residency as a spouse before or after arriving to the Phil?
Also. As a spouse, we will be moving there for good early next year. Do I need a return ticket to show immigration in the airport when we arrive?

Can you please do a video detailing the process for a foreign national traveling with their filipino spouse including the process for those who intend to reside in the Philippines indefinitely. Thank you so much.
