I've love to have more details about the customs process. 10, 000P is not much of an exemption. Let's say you're traveling with a couple of laptops, and some camera gear, that could easily be several thousand of USD. What sort of taxes/charges/penalties/etc are you going to get charged, just to have the use of your own things? I'm pretty scared of what customs is going to pull, as I sent my fiancee a gift, and customs charged 50% of the value of the gift just to let it in. If they pull that same thing while I'm stand there with my equipment in hand, that would be a nightmare.
