9 times out of 10, Philly's 4th quarter comeback would have been viewed as the comeback of the year. Incredibly, it wasn’t even the biggest comeback that day

The lone playoff win of the Randall-White era eagles.

This comeback by The Eagles was largely forgotten due to what happened in Buffalo earlier in the day.

Just the second road playoff victory in Eagles history, and the first since the 1949 NFL Championship game against the Rams in Los Angeles. First Eagles playoff victory against anybody since the 1980 NFC Championship game against the Cowboys

Philly's 4th quarter explosion was stunning when you put things into perspective:

The Saints had not given up more than 21 points in a game all year.

Their Saints defense allowed 202 points that season, the fewest any team allowed defensively in the 90s

New Orleans allowed only an average of 12.9 PPG in 8 regular season home games.

Even the offensively stacked Bills/Dolphins/49ers scored only 20, 13, and 16 points in their respective visits to at the Superdome.

And yet.... that 4th quarter. 26 unanswered points!

This was the crowning achievement for the late 80s/early 90s era Eagles - and ironically the one time nobody expected them to win. Saints have owned us in the playoffs ever since though.

I like how you label your games right in your descriptions. So many people would call this the 1993 Wild Card Playoff.

The last win for Keith Byars and Reggie White in Eagle green.

those of us in our late 30s/early40s.. This was our first ever major Philadelphia sports win. Too young to remember the 87 Flyers. We would be 9 to 13 years old at this time.

The Eagles ONLY playoff win under Kotite. The Eagles just poured it on in the 4th quarter and really when you look back was the last hurrah to the old guard the Eagles had. The very next week the young Cowboys crushed the Eagles in the divisional round and would starting from the second regular season appearance in 1992 until the 1995 divisional round in the playoffs the Cowboys would win 8 out of 9 of those games including 7 straight games. The Eagles lone win would being 95 in Veterans Stadium with the infamous 4th down 2 same plays in a row game.

Watching the 4th qtr again. Just one of my all time favorite wins. Mora was a disaster in the NFL when it came to the playoffs, or just answering questions about them....

The Eagles essentially left it all on the field in New Orleans. Dallas was the better team the following week but Philadelphia just had nothing left. They dedicated the season to Jerome Brown & played with a ton of emotion for most of the year but just ran out of energy

How good was The NFC East in 1992? Three of the four teams in the divisional round were from The NFC East: Dallas, Philadelphia & Washington. In fact the first four years of that decade an NFC East team won The Super Bowl and had two or more playoff teams from 90-93.

So many "what ifs" this game. So many underrated Saints players basically tarnished by one bad game. Dome Patrol looked very ordinary against a decent Eagles offense. I think some stuff got into their heads because a lot of mental errors out there as well.

The only playoff win Buddy Ryan and the Gang Green defense had. Pretty sad if you ask me.

I figured the Eagles would win this game, especially since they had Booty.

The 2nd Half by Hebert is right up there with the worst QB play in playoff history...just atrocious
