Did you know that we wear just 20% of the clothes we own 80% of the time? So why not put what we're not wearing to good use and give those items a purposeful second life, by donating them to "Dress for Success."

This is a great organization. Women who were homeless learn a marketable skill and are given an interview outfit. When they get the job, several outfits are given to them so they have something to wear on the job. There are many outfits which no longer fit us or whatever reason. Dress for Success shops have a range of sizes they will accept. They use everything you wear to work: coat, jewelry, shoes, scarves, dresses and separates, purses, underthings in good condition. One lady owned only a sweatshirt and a skirt worn with knee socks. She learned how to have an appropriate appearance. Your old unworn things can genuinely help someone who wants to work.
