Raiden's Wish Granted By Make-A-Wish and AZDPS

Raiden Aguilera's wish is to one day be a SWAT Operator. On December 7, 2017, the Arizona Department of Public Safety's SWAT team made this wish come true! The SWAT team went above and beyond what Raiden and his family expected for their Wish Day. Starting at the AZDPS hangar, the team showed him the different planes and helicopters used by the Department... then surprised him with a full mock mission! Raiden was sworn in by AZDPS Director Col. Frank Milstead and was off to rescue a couple of huggable hostages! From flying in the helicopter, to taking down the "bad guys", Raiden truly was a SWAT Operator that day. Watch the video below for a full recap of Raiden's wish coming true!

I am amazed how wonderful DPS pulled this off. I am a retired Law Enforcement officer, we often handed out stickers of the MCSO badge to young kids!!
