It's inspiring to know that even Mozart had to start somewhere. The fact that his pieces got longer and better as he aged demonstrate that practice matters far more than raw talent. Few of us can profess to having the sophisticated and rigorous music education that Mozart had even from a young age (and fewer still would have wanted our childhood to be ruled by music as Mozart's was!), yet we are all still capable of great feats of creativity if we only possess the drive to practice, practice, practice.

I really love these compositions. It allows us to, in a way, see in the mind and heart of a child, in this case a very talented one. Such innocence and delight, it makes me smile simply to listen to them.

A child playing :) That's his brilliance! He had always been a child playing with music, with carefree delight and insane playfulness! It's God, speaking through a little angel, telling us the lesson we have always failed to learn " don't take life too seriously, you morons!".
