You could do this with an Atomos recorder on one camera/lens. While the camera is shooting video the Atomos could be running your timelapse. With this set up you're getting identical framing and footage in both formats.

This was an excellent idea!! I have recently been toying with blending video and time lapse, but I honestly had been trying to go to far with it really. Pretty cool, never thought of doing this.
Would have to do a little more work if you're doing a photo time-lapse and then video for the slow motion, but still doable.
