Love how GP mentioned Kukoc. Hardly anybody gives Kukoc's credit where it's due, that dude played a huge role in all three of their Finals, especially in '98 when both Jordan and Pippen were struggling in game 5

Imagine if Jordan did a reaction to this video and started laughing again 🤣😭

I loved watching Gary Payton and Shawn Kemp. Even though I was a diehard blazers fan I did love that Seattle team!

I'm a big Bulls and MJ fan but I got to give Payton credit, that is one mature ass grown man outlook right there. GP will never be replicated

What I took from MJ's laugh was he was amused by Gary's statement, but there was also respect. We all know Gary Payton was a good player.

I never thought Jordan was laughing at Gary Payton but just laughing at the situation. I think Jordan has lot of respect for Gary and we all do too. Much respect to Gary Payton.

I loved Michael's laugh so much. He mustv'e laughed at the level of GP's confidence.. Only few can talk with that much confidence

I loved the mural in Seattle that used to be on the whole side of a building overlooking Denny Park. It was a huge pic of Gary in a defensive stance and on top it said "The Glove", and underneath it said "You Couldn't Drive By Him In Your Car". Dude was a gift to watch.

Payton is easily top 5 defensive natural point/two-guard of all time - likely top 3. I have no problem with his ultra-confidence of course...but one of the blazing memories of my childhood is watching one particular play in that series, when Jordan tanked the play that Phil called, waved everyone away and posted up Payton to hit his godlike fadeaway as the halftime buzzer sounded. It etched itself in my memory as the ultimate challenge met; challenge answered.
"You think you can stop me? Hold this work."

“I wouldn’t respect him if he said I stopped him”. Very true. He knew Jordan down to his confidence, killer instinct and anything short of that would be fake.

To this day no one gets me out of my seat like them Kemp dunks used to. There was something so electrifying about his. His reverse spin dunk teabag on Rodmans forehead in the 96 finals still one of my faves.

Hey if you get Michael's attention on any level that means you doing something right so in order for him to mention the glove is all that needs to be said!

One of the GREATEST players/pg’s who is often underrated or overlooked. Best defensive pg of all time with GREAT offensive stats as well 💪🏽

Jordan still gave GP mad respect while at the same time trying to downplay his effort…”The Glove, I had no problem with The Glove”…trust me, that was respect.

I respect GP. True baller who doesn’t care whose on the other side. He’s keeping the same energy whoever you are. You love to see it. Ppl say MJ never played against anyone in the finals but there was a reason the Sonics and Jazz were Western conference representatives. The Sonics team was stacked! They’d fit right in with today’s brand of basketball.
