Let's say I'm trying to record a lecture using audacity on my laptop, usually the audio is very echo ie and I want to change that would these settings help? I sit as close as possible to the lecturer so I think it might work I'll give it a try thanks for the video.

Hello, I thing I changed something in the settings because every record does not start from 0, 0 level but from 0, 5. How can I return to 0, 0?

i still keep mine at 100 coz my mic doesnt do that thing and keeping my mic at 75 sounds pretty low
