I love it with instant mashed potatoes and green beans. It’s a pantry meal for us. A bit pricey, but great for those “meal in 5 minutes” times.

Hereford is the best brand we've used. Our favorite way to use it is to put it in a flour tortilla with diced green chili and cheese for burritos or to make taquitos with it or to use in nachos with cheese, lettuce, green onions, chopped tomatoes, black olives, picante sauce... Or to layer it on corned tortillas with cheese and diced green peppers. You can also warm the beef with a small jar of beef gravy and put it on egg noodles or rice... Or warm it with vegetables and mashed potatoes as you show it here.

When I see this, I see it served over thick toasted bread, topped with cooked onions, a little shredded cheese and a small dollop of sour cream. Or, make stroganoff 😊

Canned beef is great for the prepper pantry. I like to put 1 can of beef, a can of veg all, a can of beef broth, a can of rotel, diced or dried onions, diced or canned potatoes, a can of tomato sauce, salt and pepper to taste, and a little water until desired consistency. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer until the potatoes are tender.
Canned roast beef with gravy is also good for serving over cooked egg noodles. Thanks for sharing!

I buy Roast beef with water in a can at Walmart and use it 3 ways. Skillet fry onions with the meat + taco seasoning, makes 2 soft tacos. Heat in skillet, add seasoning + soy sauce + condensed can cream of chicken soup + 1/2 can water. Heat meat in skillet with some onion & bell pepper + add 1 Tbsp flour + soy sauce + 1 package Beef Ramen (1/2 seasoning packet) + 1 1/2 cups water (the flour makes remaining water into gravy).

I’ve made a little extra gravy & added that & sautéed onions to cooked noodles for beef and noodles. Eat alone with a vegetable or over mashed potatoes.
