A powerful blizzard affected all of eastern Massachusetts, knocking out power to thousands of residents and causing numerous vehicles to get stuck in deep snow drifts.

I spent an hour and a half clearing snow before noon.
Then I went out around five pm, and pushed the snow blower around for another two hours.
I'm not sure of the totals but I seem to remember a storm in the early two thousands were we got more than this.

Just so know. Everyone you see that got stuck does NOT have snow/winter tires on their vehicle

Attempting to drive in a snow storm is ALWAYS a wise decision. No They have AWD. AWD works in winter driving conditions as you can readily see, especially with "All-Season" tires. Snow tires are never necessary, especially with AWD.

If these types of winter are the new normal it might be a good idea to buy actual snow tires once again, or at least all weather tires. All season tires are the worst choice for winter.
