Hello friends! I accidentally made the video go live a day before it was meant to - whoopsie. Happy accidents, I guess! I am SO EXICTED about this because Robin is super cool, we have some fun languages in common, and this was just a nice wholesome chat about languages, life and more. I hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed making it - and stay tuned for the video on his channel coming soon!

I’m literally not reading the english subtitles anymore. It’s just so amazing to watch them conversing in a lot of languages. Languages are just so beautiful and I just enjoy hearing new sounds even if I can’t understand a thing haha 😆 So inspiring! Thank you so much for this!!

THE CROSSOVER EPISODE THAT I HAVE BEEN WAITING

It's funny. Lindie starts thinking in whatever the last language is and Robin thinks in his strongest/oldest language.

Thank you guys for such a great video! My mother tongue is Japanese and I’m learning all other 4 languages (including English), and it was a great pleasure for me to be able to understand what you guys were saying. This is the exact moment when I feel learning languages is really rewarding, even though I haven’t reached a high level. Thank you so much!

Honest and not filtered! It was great. It does show how challenging it is to learn and maintain multiple languages at the same time. Wow

So, this is gonna sound weird and a bit rude (lo siento) but I loved hearing you work through your Spanish. Maybe you forgot some words, maybe it was hard but watching you keep going and keep trying really comforted me. Spanish is my target language (and my only acquired language) and now I don't feel so alone because I have seen you (who I consider an expert) language learner, in the process of learning a language. Cheers.

I absolutely loved this. It’s so brave of the two of you to be, as Robin said, vulnerable and honest with some of your weaker languages.

Quite interesting to know how French people are seen from elsewhere :)

I didn't realize how much Japanese I could understand until I watched this! Even though that isn't a lot, I'm really proud of it! Thank you for making me motivated to study more!

"Constantly forgetting ", relearning, and above all being honest to our levels are probably the greatest entity of being 'polyglot', as they're not the permanent resident of 'safety chamber ', they passionately explore their limits; irrespective of all hostility.
"The polyglot is a linguistic nomad."--Rosi Braidotti.
And also thanks for including French, I used it as my listening comprehension. Thanks Lindie.

Wow!! This was incredible, I truly enjoyed watching this and also getting to know Robin. I am totally consumed with his channel now too. Thank you, Lindie! You both have put in so much work into your languages! Should be so proud, this is truly something and I loved watching it. This has inspired me immensely to keep going in my LL journey…. Many thanks to you both for being honest and sharing this space and your incredible skills with us all. This is what the community should be about! More connection and transparency, please!

Thank you for this video! I'm a Japanese native who is currently learning Korean, Chinese, Spanish and Indonesian. Both of your Japanese are amazing:) While I love learning languages and am passionate enough to try and find time to stick to all of them, sometimes I can't help but feel defeated realising how little my progress has been and how much I've lost what I've learned in each language. Watching the two of you in this video was inspiring both in terms of your honesty/authenticity and the apparent efforts that you've put into those languages to reach this point. Salute to both of you!
