Hi guys and welcome back to my channel! ♥️ Sharing a very special kind of video today with you guys. You can hear me read in all 5 languages I have studied in my life or that I am currently studying 🥳

I am very very very passionate about reading in foreign languages, especially when you start studying a language because it breaks down this initial fear.

Some of you may notice I have not included german even though I did study at school for around 8 years. This is because I have not studied it since, and unless I pick it up again on my own, I won't count it as one of my languages! So yeah, I hope this sheds some light on to my current level for all these languages, and if you guys are looking for tips to improve your reading in your target language definitely subscribe to my channel since I'll talking about that a lot more from on!

I really hope you guys will like this video and I will see you in the next one!

Subscribe and leave a like and a comment to help me grow my channel! 🙆‍♀️🥳

BTW, did you guys notice the improvement in my video editing? I hope to get better in time! 🥰🙆‍♀️🥳

You have a pretty good pronunciation for a beginner in Russian. Great work!

Also, I`d like to mention that if you read “моя” (móya), pronouncing a clear "o" sound, it sounds more like a "washing".

“моя руки“ = washing hands

It should sound more like мая (mayá), with a stress on a last letter.

In Russian all the unstressed vowels are usually pronounced unclearly.

This way, е becomes more like и, о is pronounced more like a, and so on.

Only in some Russian dialects all “o” letters are pronounced like “o”.

By the way, even native Russians pronounce many words wrongly. That`s why there is a tendency to change the rules of pronunciation, so that it would match the way the people speak.

Also, as you are learning Chinese pronunciation too, I`d like to give you a hint about how to pronounce pronoun Ты.

In Chinese there are syllables like shi, chi, where “i” letter is pronounced very hard, flat.

It should be almost the same in Russian, only you should change “sh” or “ch” to “t” letter.

I am N4 level, and decided to start reading more as a way to absorb vocab. Any advice on some light novels you started with? Thanks for the video!

Your progress with chinese is amazing! :O I began learning it recently as well and pronounciation has been hard but your video inspires me to continue learning!
I'm wondering, do you have a tutor or someone that corrects your mistakes when pornouncing words? :)
