3rd time this happened...

what a frustrating situation :/

Best No Matter What Day Ever 739

Alright fam, we need to have a real talk. I was really hesitant to do this but I think its time I told you whats been going on. I want to start out by saying this is not a rant against police. I respect law enforcement and the hard jobs they do. But me and my neighbors need a little more help from our local police department.

Someone vandalized our neighborhood. They threw some rocks through some windows of our house, and not just mine, but several of our neighbors as well. Normally I wouldn't say anything, but this is the third time something like this has happened. The first time someone broke into our Subaru and stole Jenny’s wallet, the second time my Element got keyed and kicked in.
Now the part that makes all this frustrating happened last week. Albert was bringing me home from the airport. It was around midnight and he took the back way to my house, i was navigating him through the middle of the neighborhood and he didn’t notice a stop sign, we started rolling through when i told him there was a stop sign, we stopped and i told him to go straight and not turn there. There was a cop literally camping out at that stop sign, he was in the shadows of a dead end road just waiting for someone to roll that stop sign. He pulled Alex over and gave him a ticket. I couldn't help but think if he or other cops were patrolling through my neighborhood rather than camping a stop sign maybe this wouldn't have been the 3rd time our neighborhood has been vandalized.

Like I said, I'm not mad at police but I'm frustrated with the whole situation.

Anyway, we moved on and still had an amazing best day ever!! But i did want to share this with you guys, and also raise awareness for our local police department to make some changes with protecting our community!!

Then we head to the Spacestation where we have a random scooter high jump contest between myself and Holladay. Could this be the beginning of some new speed test?

Can't believe somebody would do something like that. I don't know how it is in Utah, but where I live you can actually request for a cop to drive by the house every few hours. Definitely call and find out.

The cop doesn’t know who you are when he pulls you over. The rolling through the stop sign is the reason to pull you over to get to bigger things. At the end of the day when he finds out that you live there maybe he could’ve not given you the ticket. But being pulled over is ok in my eyes if there’s issues in your neighborhood. I go work at 2-4am in the morning and gotten pulled over by the same cop two days in a row. Once he said I didn’t use my blinker to change lanes when I did (no ticket) and the next day was for no front plate and got a ticket. When he asked for my license and registration I reminded him he just pulled me over yesterday morning. He didn’t even realize it. I get what they’re doing, there isn’t much going on at that hour and usually nothing good happens after midnight. At the end of the day, that’s their job and we have hour job. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Sorry to hear that happen. It’s happening a lot to nice neighborhoods now. I strongly recommend a camera security system that you can see on your phone.

Telling everyone on your channel is a good way to deter that behavior because it's a subscriber to your channel. Try to install hidden cameras as well. Dash cams that activate sound as well to protect your vehicles. Good luck man, you're an awesome person.
