Your Chanel is soo underrated. This is real information. Unlike “10 camera tricks for better cinematography” wish you would make these videos more often, really appreciate it.

This is my new favorite channel! Your content is so clear and comprehensive; and it covers a higher level of production than most other channels I have been able to find. Keep up the great work!

Every time I watch a new video, I gain so much information! It's almost like a mirror has been placed in my brain to increase apparent depth, lol.

The use of mirrors is amazing. The creativity is fantastic. Although I must say that some shots felt like they were deliberate attempts to using mirrors, just adding more to the craft than to the story.(I may change my judgement once I see the film, but it's just an analysis looking at this tutorial). I hope you'd appreciate creative criticism.

Actually you can shoot directly into a mirror if you use a tilt shift lens.

I love playing with mirrors in photography. There's so much fun you can do. In cinematography it's even more. That was very interesting.

Simply as a viewer, I so much prefer your OTS/mirror setup at the end to the standard approach of having the actor look into the camera to give the effect of looking at him/herself in the mirror. The more common approach never fails to draw my attention. The actor is looking at us (the camera) and not herself, which might be intentional in rare circumstances, but most often there's no good reason for that "choice." (Rather, it's obviously simply the easiest way to shoot that common arrangement - in the story, the character should be looking at herself.) The result of your setup is far more satisfying and in keeping with the character/action.

You’re my favorite film channel on YouTube! Thank you so much! Whenever I make it in Hollywood, I want you to be my cinematographer! I just hope you want to help me make my film hahaha. Thank you so much again for your videos! They’re so helpful and great. Btw, the elevator scene towards the end in Haneke’s Cache does a similar thing with mirrors. I bet you’d love it if you saw it. Also, Eisenstein talked about making a film with mirrors when you can combine shot-reverse-shot through the use of mirrors and have it all take place at once which is another reason to use mirrors. Anyways, thank you. I hope you keep making videos!
