What I love about MotoMan is that you meet the creators behind the cars and not just the raw numbers. Gives you a deeper understanding of the design, engineering, and purpose behind the car and it's components.

In Australia, we get the CH-R with a 1.2L turbo and scrolling LED indicators. Oh and we get manual and AWD options.

Just bought a 2019 version and LOVE IT! Will soon be adding some Toyota TRD performance parts to it. So happy Toyota offers these parts right from the dealer.

I think I would be willing to pay the following for some extra goodies:
Sunroof - $500
Awd - $1000
Leather-$750
Nav -$250
Hybrid -$1, 500

You failed to mention that the backup camera is in the rearview mirror. Needs a nav system.

Great background on this car. The driving dynamics engineered in this car don't get the respect they deserve and neither does chief engineer Hiroyuki Koba. Thanks for having him on the show. Because of Youtube's strange algorithm, I just saw this video now but I am a proud owner of a 2019 Toyota C-HR XLE. I Loved the looks and the safety features this offered. Where I live, it is always sunny so I have no need for all wheel drive and I bought this car for reliability and low maintain costs so I do not need a hybrid system. Another thing people don't know is that Toyota offers TRD performance parts for this car right from the dealer. No doubt this was because of chief engineer Koba and I have them all on my car which include the TRD Lowering Springs which lower the car and improves both the stance and handling of the car as well as the TRD Air Intake Kit which squeezes even more power and torque out of this engine. Over all my family and I love our "TRD" Toyota C-HR. Thank you Toyota for building it and thank you to chief engineer Hiroyuki Koba for fighting to give this car such great driving dynamics despite the limited budget for this segment of car. Those who own one get it. Well done MotoMan! Glad I subscribed!

A neighbor just got this. While it's very sporty on the outside....It isn't that roomy inside...re: the back and trunk area.. we got a Honda HRV last year and the difference inside is pretty huge in that you have so much more leg room in the HRV and TONS of space to haul things with the Magic Seats.. We test drove the Juke too and that was a joke inside...you have very little room inside and forget about taking any one else in the back as the leg room is non-existent but the HRV is very roomy inside for anyone driving, riding or taking 'stuff'....after seeing the CRV up close, we're glad we got the HRV, we love ours!

Would buy if manual, AWD and 300-350hp with room for improvements. What made the supra legendary is that Toyota left a lot of room for mods. If they made a sport package with track ready or WRC ready models (TRD) it would be awesome. Could be the next WRX killer but only if Toyota puts money into it.

Just a minor note: the 1.2 engine for this car in europe not only has a manual transmission but it has an auto-blip on downshift function.

I live in the U.S., and I was really thinking about buying a chr until I found out manual transmission is not an option. Not fair.

I love the look of the vehicle. I would only buy if it had at least Apple/Android, AWD, and Sun/Panaramic roof.

I have the exact model and year and it's so far the best car I have ever had. All the nitpicking is absolutely nonsense and trust me it won't even register to you when driving it. It is great on gas and comfortable and reliable so far. Anyone interested in a CH-R shouldn't read too much into what these reviewers keep complaining and nitpicking about this car. Treat it well and it will last.

It seems to be comfortable and very detailed inside...it has aggressive slim headlights enhancing its beauty....
