It looks like the blockage is understanding the concept of “complement” at least that was my struggle. All the excess words tend to make the concept difficult to understand until one understands what the complement means such as in “le gâteau de ma mère.” Thanks for this lesson. I’ve forgotten a lot of it! 👍🏽🙏🏼❤️

Thanks Alexa, excellent stuff. I 've been learning on Duolingo for many years but it doesn't really explain what's happening in the exercises and the tips. This has made it much clearer.

I made errors on most of the practice sentences, but I feel I have understanding of what to do correctly. I will still need the charts to get correct answers but it was a good lesson. Merci beaucoup.
