Excel Vlookup #N/A Fixes

Vlookup is a very useful function within Excel, but occasionally it will stubbornly return "#N/A" results when you can clearly see that the value you are looking up exists in the reference table.

Here are a few tips to help you understand why the problem occurs, and tricks to get around them.
