If I had to do drywall for a living my family would starve.

Painter here.
Im not sure what things are like over in BC.
But here in manitoba, its such a shit on trade.
Right there with painting.
Boggles my mind, to do a proper job like you do.
It requires you to be an artist.
To come and prime a house, and not have to call the tapper back for touchups.
I give you guys the utmost respect!
All trades for that matter, that take pride in there job.

The onlyone we actually need is exactly the one you picked. I can do corners and all with it. I'm a professional painter in Finland. 23 years of experience.

I stopped using pole sanders as they leave way too many scratches. Dont judge me, but i use a sanding block (sponge) for everything. might take a little longer, but my primecheck is cut in less than half from all the scratches I need to repair. Even when I skimcoat an entire ceiling after stipple removal I still use the sanding block. It also helps me find the high and low spots, because you can feel them as you are sanding. I break my edges then use a circular pattern to get a uniformed finish. Of course this is how I like to do it and to each their own

Richards 18272 kit comes with head and 2 sponges one angle one flat.
Angle sponge is about 6.50 each.

I was a straight pole sander for almost 5 years.
The plastic Richard head’s actually do a much better job. Doesn’t leave black marks and can sand out the top angle without damaging the texture.
Not saying your wrong but there’s still a few more options
Love your videos
I train new drywallers all the time and tell them to watch your videos

For an even more versatile option, the standard pole sander comes in 3 versions. One is permanent fixed to the handle, one has male threads on the attachment and female threads on the pole, the final one is the most versatile. I prefer the sander with female threads because it attaches to a painters pole.

The same pole can also be used for a broom or deck brush. If you work by yourself, it's helpful to have fewer things to carry. It's also helpful for ceilings because you can use an extention pole. The one I have has foam on the sander. So no additional foam backer is needed. It was also the cheaper option.

I don't sand without extraction equipment anymore. Massive difference to my workflow and my psyche 😂

Only sanding pole you need is the with the carpenter attached to it

I'll be honest with you... I use an old swifter with a large (wraps around) circular piece of sandpaper, with a few pieces of alien tape to hold it together...
Yours look like they work way better!

What about the radius 360 sander is it worth the purchase or not really wish to know I just landed my first big project at a nursing home and that's 15 units completely needing to be remodeled the whole interior got gutted and well having to scrape the popcorn off the entire ceilings n give a smooth solid finish nothing major after scraping I had to kinda float a coat or two come back and sand before shooting a primer coat I did run into a lot of scratches with the 220 sand paper as I sanded the ceilings down not sure if it was bcuz of the sand paper or if it was me when applying a bit of pressure on the sandpaper but i was able to finish off the ceilings and now im rolling paint on the walls and spraying the baseboards with the Graco magnum true airless almost completed with the whole project thank you father God for the strength and opportunity to show my skills with this big project please keep mthe work coming father it is your name that I carry and highly appreciate amen 🙏
