But how do we save money? I mean...talking about bank services. We need to save our big amount money in a safe place right? Islamic banks also aren't 100% Islamic. And many Islamic scholars give fatwa about not dealing with banks. But how do we save our money? In a earthen pot? No scholars give direct solution. May Allah save us from this fitnah, Ameen

Be careful brothers and sisters to not take an interpretation of the Quran even from the best of scholars as a word of god.

Read the Quran which contains the only words from Allah and let it speak to you. Those are the only true words.

The key is intention

If you take a loan to go to school and for most of us that is the only way to pay for university level education, I would agree not haram because your intention is to go to school and provide a living for your family

Also people who understand finance know that interest rate is just the price to exchange money today for a future period

How is it any different than back in the days for example when we exchange 1 bag of sugar in exchange for 2 bags of salt..: what is the fair price / exchange, people just agree to a price and do an exchange

Similarly interest rate is something you agree to for a transaction or exchange

It’s haram when you are ripping someone off intentionally or putting them in a very hard position, unfortunately a lot of people take on more debt than they can afford and run into issues

Think of a grocery store that sells chicken, what is the fair price $15, $20 $8 etc for a whole chicken, it costs money to do business and same goes for the banks
