My wife has ms and is under the care of the professor at san Francisco ms clinic ucsf. They were surprised when we shared a study on intermittent fasting and lions mane which showed a significant repair rate of the myelin sheath. They said to us why dont we know about this. The world is a big place and it takes a community of people sharing information to make a positive charge

I discovered I had MS when I went partially blind. It was just the lower right quadrant of both eyes, and I could not detect motion in that area of the visual field. But it was not black! My brain would fill it with what it thought was the background. So I knew it had to be a brain problem. I also had a little trouble speaking. Fortunately all that went away after a few weeks. Got all the clinical tests, and the neurologist said it's MS. I took dimethyl fumarate for a few years, along with high-dose Vitamin D. No progression at at all. I had to stop taking the dimethyl fumarate around January 2020, because my lymphocytes were dangerously low. I've kept on with the 8000 iu of D3 per day, and that seems to be working.

Got Moderna vaccines early and even though my CD4s were still low, I had an excellent antibody response.

Progressive MS took 25 years to kill my husband. A horrible, heartbreaking disease.

Thank you so very very much Dr Mobeen. Helped me understand more about what my wife went through. So much progress since she passed in 2007.

4 first cousins of mine had and have MS...two are still living, other two passed through complications. Two are a brother/sister combo, the other is their double cousin from my Paternal side, and one female cousin from my Maternal side.
Now, interestingly, while working on my Ancestry tree I found that one of my 3rd Great Grandparents had a son who was afflicted with MS and died from it in the late 1800's...can you say "genetics" in this case?

Thank you so much, as always a very beautiful and elegant review of MS. Please give us some possible clinical scenarios of patients with immune pathologies and the COVID vaccine. French government has order booster shots on general population even patients with immune system pathologies. All our love from Spain.

Hyperbaric therapy v's placebo for MS patients, everybody in both groups found reduction in symptoms.
Conclusion; hyperbaric therapy is crap, it's all in their head.
Alternative conclusion; 2 hours a day of toxic free air, irrespective of oxygen concentration or atmospheric pressure, is beneficial for MS patients..

In a recent video, you highlighted a study indicating thiamine may be beneficial for covid patients as it will help to tamp down the cytokine storm. I wonder what your thoughts are regarding the use of allithiamine (to cross BBB) 100mg bid in patients w MS as it seems, if thiamine acts on immune system as you described in Covid-thiamine video, it should help interrupt the disease process in MS.
