About me - I'm Claire and I live in the UK. My taste in perfumes is usually quite sweet but not too sweet, I love white florals but not tuberose so much. I like gourmands as long as they smell like perfumes still, I require my perfumes to change a little bit as I wear them ie not linear. I don't enjoy oud, leather, cumin, saffron or strong patchouli however there can be occasions where I do like perfumes with these notes if they are not too dominant. I enjoy most florals as long as they are backed up with something sweet or perhaps resins / insense. I tend to not enjoy anything very soapy. I also don't really enjoy very green fragrances. I am averse to overdoses of ambroxan and iso E super (timbersilk or similar) just because I find it annoying! I have no problem with synthetics in perfumery but I do enjoy perfumes that have some notes that at least smell like they could be from nature. My favourite type of perfumery is indie and I love Francesca Bianchi, Teone Reinthal, 4160 Tuesdays and Papillon Artisan Perfumes.

Adverts - I know they are annoying but they earn me a few pennies from the Adsense which I put back into buying perfumes to talk about on this channel.

Great tips 🙂! About dates... I'd like to add that chemical compounds of garlic, onions, and anything you eat probably but these ones are probably the strongest, can be smelled not only through breath but via ALL body secretions 😬(yes... aaaall of them).

Fragrances are like people. Develop a good relationship with them before you use them. 🤣 The great thing about wearing niche+ is that it's a wonderful way to identify the fragheads. I never try and buy on the same day, especially not from Boots. My local Boots have most of the testers locked up and you have to hunt a staff member down to grudgingly open the cabinet to hurriedly spray one spray in your direction. They act like you just want free perfume if you want to actually try it on your skin. So even if I decide I want it later I'll buy it anywhere but there.

Oh dear! I'm doomed! My cousin can't bear Eau Sauvage as that was the signature of her ex-husband (long time ago and happily remarried). As far as the breath goes garlic and onion can be countered by eating a handful of raw Parsley. Works!

Some great advice. However I eat onion every day, garlic often too, I am in France though so it's more accepted I suppose, better than chain smoker breath anyway 😅

The bit about garlic 🧄 🥴 so true…I always avoid eating dishes with garlic and onions on a date. They say if both of you eat the same food it helps to offset the stink…I don’t take chances 🤣

I'm definitely an over sprayer 😳. Two or three sprays generally just doesn't seem to do much ? Unless I'm using Hera, in which case those few sprays are perfection.🥰. Otherwise I do tend to overspray 🤎
