New Occidental Tool Belt Set Up + NEW & IMPROVED DIY HANDLES!

Sup guys, welcome back to the channel! No car stuff going on this week, but here's something that I've been excited about that came in the mail earlier this week lol. It's the Occidental Leather 5036 Electrician's tool pouch! My original pouch was the 5590 Commercial Electrician's set, which I loved but just felt was too bulky for the kind of work we do (since we're not ALWAYS doing commercial work) and using my new pouch set up during the past few days while also holding the same exact tools as my previous pouch was a BIG DIFFERENCE. It feels way lighter, and less bulkier! Overall I'm happy with it. It doesn't feel heavy at all that I feel the need to use the sheep skin for weight distribution and comfort, and it feels like I'm barely carrying anything lol.

Also in this vid is a portion of showing you guys what I usually carry in my pouch since I know several of you have been asking for a tool belt tour since my last Occidental video of putting on the handles.

And last but not least, a new and improved version of the DIY handles using an actual occidental product. Shout-out to @Leon Crandall for recommending this on my other video. It came out super legit! Although I still think Occidental should really start making handles on their tool bags so we don't need to go through all this trouble lol. ...I still think Occidental is the best tool pouch there is out there. Change my mind 🤷🏻‍♂️😌🤪😂

I've been using O.L. leather stuff with Sheepskin hip pads for 20+ years. Recently picked up some Veto to try out for a new/different setup.
I was just thinking about putting leather handles on my stuff as the synthetic handles on the Veto are bulky and while removeable, still kind of a PITA. The leather will break in nicely and easily tuck out of the way.
I use mine for elec. plumbing, and oher projects. The leather pouch holds an impact driver nicely as well.

Im a retired MILWRIGHT, SOME YEARS BACK I BOUGHT THOSE SAME TYPES OF TOOL BELT WITH LEATHER SUSPENDERS. I TURNED IT INTO A BELT LESS SYSTEM. ITS SO MUCH BETTER BECAUSE BENDING OVER WITHOUT THE ALMOST 3" BELT GETTING IN THE WAY IS COMFORTABLE.
I WAS ON A JOB WORKING COMPOSITE WITH IRON WORKERS, AND ONE DAY ONE OF THEM WAS TRYING TO POKE FUN AT ME ASKING ME "WHAT DO YOU CALL WHAT YOU'RE WEARING ?" I ANSWERED
HIM "THESE ARE CALLED TOOL BELTS, THOSE (THAT HE WAS WEARING) ARE BOLT BAGS" BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT MOST IRON WORKERS WEAR.
