The silver was widely used a long time ago when pocket watches were decorative. I’m no expert in metals but experimenting with different alloys to achieve unique case colors would be a creative way for Tudor to differentiate their watches. High tech, innovative yet rooted in retro aesthetics.

This watch is perfect. Checks all of the boxes for me. I dont even care how it patinas. I own a 925 silver bracelet that has needed a left hand companion for over 20 years. And I love the patina on my 925 bracelet.

I own the black dial BB58 and absolutely adore it. I can't see myself paying for or wearing the gold version but I think I could wear this one. I want to see it in the metal. I've got a feeling this could be a really nice variation on the black and blue BB58s. Thanks for another great video! There is a feature I love about this watch and it is not something you can see, it is something you hear: They redesigned the sound of the clicks when turning the lunette. The engineer was asked to make it sound like turning the dial lock on a safe. And he delivered! It is the most satisfying „click“ I ever heard from a lunette. Had a demonstration in a well-known Swiss watch shop last week.

Nice review Jenni - a silver or white gold rotor with a cut out Tudor Rose would have lifted the rather industrial movement from banal to special, ... a missed opportunity.
