Have 8 of the V-Tac 50w in the garage and they light up pretty good!

I have to admit I struggled to clip the light into the fixings. Had to get a screwdriver and slightly open the clips to push the light in.

well I have 5 of these to fit today and I cant find any instructions for getting the clips onto the fittings - the plastic lighting cover doesn't appear to distort enough so how is that meant to be done?

quick question anyone, see there is only room for live and neutral connection.... what do you do with the incoming earth wire from house???

You claim "it's that easy"! In the REAL world, not it's not, especially if you want to comply with the wiring regulations. In the real world, at least one twin and earth cable would be coming from the ceiling, often three of them. There is no provision for doing the connections inside the light fitting and all the connections need to be done externally. Even the connector you used is unsafe until the connector is housed inside an approved case with strain relief so that all wires are double insulated and secure. I have seen a lot of DIYers get into a mess with so many modern light fittings and where they don't understand what's required for a safe installation.

Anyone tried wiring the 30cm one to replace an existing light fitting? Absolute mess. Even the connector supplied doesn't fit within the light. I'm not sure what I'm going to do, other than return the light. As KendalMike says, there are 3 other cables to consider. Joke of a product, IMHO.
