Evil Eye Easy Farming Method V2.0 - No Cone Bait Needed, No Wins Needed | MHW Iceborne

Показать описание
This method doesn't need cone RNG, as there are many more openings, but obviously requires a bit more skill. That's the trade off I'm afraid, but in return if you get good, the runs become extremely fast. Of course, by the time you're good enough to get 6 min runs, you'll probably be good enough to win the fight. But you can get 10 min runs easily even if you're bad, and baiting/punishing the cones is also alot easier with IG in my opinion, so it's all around better.

Of course, it's not as easy as holding triangle with GS, but this is the hardest monster in the game after all, and I HAVE given the easiest strats imaginable, so this seems like a reasonable trade off

This method uses partbreaker, the roaming and regular ballista (which we cover in more detail compared to the last video), and a bunch of IG punishes to make evil eye farming trivial without needing to be able to beat fatalis

Let me know if you have any questions!

Spreadsheet info:

I have a spreadsheet which collects all sorts of data on Monster Hunter World Iceborne that people ask about a lot - things like the materials needed to upgrade the best charms (e.g. handicraft, expert etc), a list of all the guiding land monster drops and gathering nodes (plus it's searchable), what materials you need for every possible augment (attack, affinity, defence, health, slot, element/status) in the game, etc:

It also includes things like a list of ALL the 4 slot decorations (including even the rare 12 ones which ONLY drop from sealed feystones) so you know the best deco's to aim for when farming. It even has detailed images for the guiding land gathering nodes (the one's that drop materials like the guiding dragonbones/crystals etc) which you need for custom weapon upgrades/augments!
My list of guiding land drops can be sorted either by drop type (so it finds the monster to fight for a particular part) or you can use it to just find the parts belonging to any monster (no more pulling your hair out over how to get those Enchanting Finehide/Trancehide for your health augments!). This goes up to and includes the tempered elders (speaking of which, check out my 5 slot tempered investigation farming macro if you haven't already!)
It also has a Safi'Jiiva relic checklist to easily monitor which awakened weapons you're missing from the new siege!

Feel free to point people to this doc if you think they would find the information useful :D

The biggest thing that helped me on the great sword cone bating was when you told me in a later video not to bring my cat

So I just wanna go ahead and tell you thanks for this video. I came back to MHW about a month ago, having not even touched Iceborne yet, and after getting to Fatalis this video was my go-to strategy for farming him. As I farmed him following these strategies, I found I was actually learning Fatalis' AI and how to handle the fight. Fast forward to yesterday, I decided on a whim that my gear and knowledge were good enough to give a proper solo run at him a shot. Sure as shit, I nailed it on my first try. That doesn't happen without your help, so thanks a ton!

And also thanks for making me pick IG back up and turning it into my secondary main :P

Not sure if everyone knows this, but at 4:40 you could have just hid behind that lil broken pillar to avoid cone breath.

Talk as much as you want. There's no fun in watching a guide video without narration. Keep up the great work.

As one of the people who really annoyed you with my comments about being unable to bait cones consistently—though I wasn’t blaming you but fully admitting I’m just an idiot—I ultimately was able to do it a few times and get Evil Eyes, and hilariously ended up creating my own insect glaive build to get my next set of evil eyes and also killed him a handful of times with the glaive. So I’m slow, but I do learn. Thanks for the help. One of the biggest tips you gave me in your live stream re: cone baiting in the end was the note about climbing up to the cannons to get Fatalis to stand back up on his hind legs. This improved my times immeasurably.

Extremely late here as I just got back into MHW again a month and a half ago. Left when Safi was new LOL. After grinding a shit ton, I was able to beat Alatreon (I’m a LS main and the matchup for Alatreon was very fun for me) and after seeing Fatalis, holy shit man. I cannot thank you enough for these guides, I was able to Plunder and Frostcraft cheese Fatalis armor set and beat Fatalis with it in the same week about 2 weeks ago now. I’ll prob use this video to get some practice on Insect glaive and farm Headbreaks on Fatty again. Love your guides, and appreciate the hard work put into these.

GS main here, I think this is nice, more variations the better and I already have 53 eyes by just farming, I would break both horns early phase two, I do the same method with your GS method and I use roaming ballista, smoke bombing the fixed ballistas too, it KOs him and it also breaks the horns with H. Artillery.
Thank you for your hard work Cons. ☺️👍✨

Thank you my friend, you helped a poor jewel man like me at MR 57 to get 4 piece Fatalis.

The gunlance is really good to farm evil eye, you can do more damage than the GS when the fatalis do his cone move, you can block and you can reach his head very easily when he let some opening and it's way more fun than the other method of farming (it takes me around 13 minutes to get a second headbreak but it is very consistent. Sorry for bad english)

Really needed this bro. I have all the beta and alpha armour and just missing hammer, db, sns and gunlance. Much appreciated

I don’t know if you still check these, but you and every other guide I’ve seen on switch axe has helped a shit ton. I not only broke the eye, I killed him, with 30 seconds and one cart left to spare on my 2nd attempt. Thanks.

It's been awhile since this was posted, but I tend to hold off on watching videos until I get desperate lol. That said, your videos have been extremely helpful. I have to credit Arekkz because his videos are incredibly helpful, however yours go further enough in depth to provide alot of extra insight that has greatly assisted as well. Thank you for taking the time.

Man you really make it look so easy, i'm an IG main and i've been trying for three days now, still can't do it :/

To bait the cone you need to be centered with fatalis and look at your camera panning in and out.
I was struggling with it but I realized whenever your camera pans in and out just before his next move he will cone.

I finally broke his head twice, it took 27 fucking minutes but i finally did it. Now it's only a matter or improving my understanding of his openings.
Thanks for all your content Cons 🥺

Part breaker 3 and artillery 5 with wide gunlance gets you the horn with 4-6 wyvern fires. Depends on how much damage you do to its head with ballista as you dont get many attacks on the head. Heavy artillery is also good just for bonus ballista damage.

Since I lack a good Greatsword but do have the lightbreak press, I'm gonna give this a shot tomorrow.
