This is a brief overview of the new plugin from Relab Development: the LX480 Essentials. As of May 2021, there is special introductory offer price of only $35 (RRP $99). Here's a link to their page with further information.

This is a simplified and stripped down plugin of the LX480 Complete, which is a far more in depth version, based on the original Lexicon 480L unit. You can download the fully functional demo of this on their site. However there isn't currently a demo option for the Essentials plugin, which is why I thought this short video might be useful.

More plugin reviews and audio tutorials coming soon.

the phase issue you mention in the wet/dry fader is produced by a latency problem caused by the send to the FX. The drum tracks have a L/R output, but before you are sending it to the fx so after the sending the fx are out to the L/R so the routing in the fx is more larger and produce a phaser. the solution is change the output of your drum tracks to an aux and the out of it to the L/R. if you already did that, ignore me lol

This plugin sounds great when it doesn't kill my DAW (Ardour and Harrison mixbus32c). It gives a loud pop when i hit play and meters are through the roof, the sound is gone for 3 seconds and many times my DAW disappears. Even when removing the instance it kills my DAW. Both in Windows 10 home and pro.
It costed mwe like € 25, - but i prefer quitting my DAW otherwise.

So soundwise great but technical this is very very sucky!

I could have been interested but this video don't show enough example on enough different sounds. Signature sounds from Joe Carrel and Richard Furch?? Wow Cool! Who are there guys?? maybe you could show what a "signature sound" is... no? Oh well... not buying
