Thanks. I work almost exclusively in classical music but this was a very useful talk on the Relab version of the 480.

I used the real Lexicon when I was a re-recording mixer back in the early 2000's. I mixed a lot of movies with it. It's an amazing tool for post-production. If this plug-in is anywhere close to the real deal, then the price is a steal.

Thanks Matthew, i was waiting such a 480 tutorial so long. I use it for so many years now and tried to get the best possibble sound, and i figured out so much good things in this beauty - but i always want to find some information about how the legendary sound engineers used it (the hardware version) in the good old days. This is a never ending story... so keep on :)!

I use LX480 complete as my go-to reverb. I was hoping to learn more about it in this video, but the saxophone bleed is unacceptably distracting and intrusive. I hope you try it again with a clean track.

Hi. I talked to a friend yesterday. He is a live mix engineer but also does some things in the studio. FreakSound Germany. He told me he never feels the Relab and when he pulls out the Lexicon all the density he wants is there immediately. I always thought they would have the same algos. Are you familiar with the differences?
In my case I got neither of both. Whenever a reverb plugin teases me I check it against JMG Hyperspace and the GAS goes ąway very fast. Do you know this awesome reverb plugin? Cheers
