Redfall - Everything We Know

Redfall is an upcoming open world first-person shooter that is being developed by Arkane Studios and published by Bethesda. The project was announced in 2021, and hasn't been promoted as much as I would have expected. While the marketing has been minimal, fans have already started to get excited for the title. As far as I know, there have been two leaks, one from years and years ago and the one from September of 2021. The newer version was from a video and was using Unreal 5 engine.
I don't see this getting delayed at all.

September 2022 is still summer technically, so that would qualify.

A standalone game starring the character, titled Marvel's Blade, is in development by Arkane Lyon to be published by Bethesda Softworks.

This will be interesting. Death loop honestly made me realize that I'm kinda burnt out on Arkanes very specific style of game so I'm glad they are branching out. But then again... Prey is my favorite game of theirs so I'm a little nervous.

Yeah I'm sure this will get delayed. Haven't seen any actual gameplay (not leaked) or marketing for the game. If it's supposed to come out in September, we should have had some more information by now.

Still mostly just baffled as to why Bethesda has Arkane - the absolute masters of in-depth, story-based singleplayer level design - making a multiplayer looter shooter of all things. Talk about waste of talent. Add to that the obnoxious, trend-chasing and juvenile presentation and I'm definitely worried.

I lost any microscopic shred of interest I had at LOOTER SHOOTER & MTX. Deathloop was a huge misfire for me as well.
I'll stick to playing the Dishonored games & Prey.

Can we make our own character or do we only get the diversity hire cast premades? No? Hard pass. Not my type of game and if I can't make my own character then I have no reason to play.

So far not so good with no interesting characters to choose from. Was thinking of playing this when the trailer released. But it looks pretty bad. I said this very same thing about certain shooter games. That Law Breakers would never succeed. And Rogue Company would never succeed despite being made by the same company that could have made a sequel for an actually interesting game - Paladins.

Its going to be like all those Arkane Clones + . I havent seen or played any Arkane Stuff with delight or passion. I tried Dishonored or Prey both sucked from ideas I ve seen before. Sorry.
