I've finished Redfall and have a lot of thoughts! This is my in-depth Redfall review, where I share my brutally honest opinion after completing the game and watching the credits roll. I was going to pass this game. But... Seeing this review gave me hope. It's the only FAIR review I've seen and I am not even kidding. This review is the only review who concentrates on it's successes and not what it lacks. I am downloading it right now. And it's thanks to the reviewer. I've subscribed too and look forward to future reviews.

Man. You have to love all the comments in this thread that are all making the claim that this SINGLE REVIEW is the only one telling the truth and that Redfall is actually 'not that bad', even as it ignores all of the problems the game has ASIDE from the abysmal performance that they couldnt ignore because it will be immediately obvious how shit it is. You guys are loving your rose-tinted glasses right now. Saying this review is somehow more credible than the likes of ACG is shameful.

Edit: Oh. I get it now. He's a small-channel content creator that has to appear amicable toward shit games in order to get review codes. I understand. Nothing suspicious here at all.

Redfall is a single-player blast. It'll grow over time with quality-of-life patches. Still, until then, I have yet to endure a single session where I shut off the game due to boredom or frustration.
If you're an interested gamer who is still on the fence, snap off a board, sharpen one end, and start staking some bloodthirsty vamps...

Redfall will be one of those games we look back on and say " it wasnt that bad" 😂. Very mid game on the surface with a little depth if you give it a chance.

I'm actually having a lot of fun for what it is. I had no expectations and realize it has its failures faults, but it's fun to me at least. Good review bro.
UPDATE
I've now got about 10hrs in and am bored lol. The AI is starting to show its stupidity. I'm noticing more bugs and feel like I'm repeating the same thing over and over. The also not enough depth to keep me intrigued. I guess I'm seeing what people were saying now with enough time played😢

I think I would be frustrated if I paid full price for the game but as a game pass release it is just okay but disappointing I guess. I really wish they had coop progression because that's what I was looking forward to and that missing shared progression feels like a massive misstep. The concept could be really expanded with more personality to the NPCs, odd New Englanders and more emergent gameplay, there's so much that looks cool, the world building is great, but it feels like so much is missing too. It's rough because I think the potential is there and I hope they are given the time and space to turn this around and it doesn't get abandoned to just being another Gamepass title but I don't hold out hope just because that's not really that common these days.

I installed this game through game pass. played a few mission and uninstalled it. the A.I. had to some some of the worst I've come across in a very long time. I put it on the highest unlocked difficulty from the start and was blown away at just how bad it is.

Arkane's level design and mission structure died with Deathloop, sold as an intriguing concept that may have been fun for a few hours but quickly showed how paper thin everything was, from the "time loop" mechanic that had no impact because time doesn't move to the faceless enemies that were dumb AF, to the ridiculously bland world that had no life to it.

The EXACT SAME THINGS can be said about Redfall (minus the time loop mechanic)

havent tried yet. ngl i am skeptical of all the bad reviews this review was fair good job dude! going to try the game tonight, my first impressions based on videos is that's its a step up from death loop in a combat sense but not sure, so im happy. I really enjoyed death loop even tho it was really wacky and somewhat easy. Death loops story was

I have a 3060 card as well..plays so many games EASY on High settings…why are developers releasing games with terrible optimization and then patching it later on…this is becoming a very very bad trend

Hey NorZZa, just about to watch the video but wanted to state it before I do. This game had red flag after red flag for me and I think it looks pretty poor overall. It just never hit right for me. I haven’t watched or read any reviews yet but from all the gameplay I saw, concerning.

I downloaded it solely to serve as a time sink between now and diablo 4. Seems pretty decent so far, enjoyable, but im not the type that expects every game to be the best at everything. Games are made to have fun with first and foremost ^_^
