Fun fact: Faye's support with Alm boosts her Crit rate, but it actually _DECREASES_ her evasion as well -- by up to -15 once you hit A support.
A theory suggests that, in-universe, being near Alm in the middle of battle throws her into a murderous frenzy where she even disregards her own safety to protect him.

Honestly, that A support is actually well-written.
If they had made her ending have her move on from Alm, she could have been a decent character.

I honestly feel sorry for Faye, not because she got rejected, but because the writers could've done much better with her. She could've been a real character with her own moral dilemmas and reasons for fighting.

They could've even used her interest in Alm to develop her in some interesting ways, but instead we get a cute empty shell of a character that could've been something more.

Not to mention they give her these feelings for Alm just to kick her into the dirt, and that only makes her more sympathetic.

I absolutely love this support. Not because of Faye, but because of Alm's reaction each time, especially the A support. Alm reacts like us, the audience.

Wow, the A support really changes my perception of Faye. At first I thought she was just all about Alm and a psycho, but she handled that rejection rather well and has a normal dream. Shame she gets rejected but it helps her character.

I don't get why people hate Faye.

She knew the entire time that Alm had a thing for Celica, from back when they were all children. Still, she hoped beyond hope that Alm would fall in love with her, and the perfect opportunity came when Celica was sent away for so long. Unfortunately for her, Alm never grew feelings for her and she has to face that cruel reality.

Faye knew all along that she'd never be Celica, but denied that reality and fought to be at Alm's side anyways. And she takes his rejection well.
