Vintage Bedroom Makeover Pt2 | Cozy Glam Styling Using Thrifted Decor

In this video, we continue our small bedroom makeover as a surprise for my mom. This small space got an extreme transformation from dull & boring into a dreamy vintage-inspired bedroom! The crowning jewel was a gorgeous round rattan fandelier I got from #parrotuncle which pulled the look together seamlessly.

In Pt1 of this bedroom makeover, I shared DIY gallery rails & a DIY window sill. To complete this small bedroom makeover, I added antique furniture I picked up on FBMP and refinished into a custom dark walnut finish. These turned out so charming!

I pulled decor & accessories from previous thrift hauls along with some recent finds. From there, it was all about creating a balance between modern and vintage elements to create a cohesive look for the space.

My mom returned, having absolutely no idea I was doing this, watch until the end to see her reaction!

Very tastefully and nicely done. We decorate with vintage pieces from family. It's a wonderful way to display and use furniture and paintings that belonged to our parents and grandparents or other relatives. Sometimes we even get to cherish vintage pieces from unknown families to us. They are treated with love, as well. Furniture with history, patina and character is so much more appealing.
