That is dangerous; anything free has a reason why it is free, to gather data. If anyone has been a government employee that has had their information taken or the possibility of their information (identity) stolen from this new background check entity not doing their job; which the government replaced the previous background check agency due to them selling government employees’ information and lying about giving interviews to those that where to become employees, don't do anything in purchasing online. Go directly to your bank. Freeze or have any possibility of any new account creation. Make sure your PCs are secure and the network that you use can only be accessed by you. Also check your credit score and you should be able to see if any new accounts have been opens in your name. If you are active duty place a deployment freeze on your account.

If AT&T and other ISPs where doing what they promised in turn for all the tax breaks and government money that they've been given. Then we would have a more secure but not vulnerable infrastructure. That is because the ISPs where given money to place a fiber infrastructure in place. Fiber networks can't be taped like copper wired networks. If anyone attempts to tap a fiber network they cut communication to the end users instead of being able to gather information. Also if none have the knowhow or do not care to learn how to secure their wireless network do not use it. These recent cyber security "mishaps" are on the hands of the US government for a lack of new security protocols that actually are tested and work. Also the entities and people that work for them are the biggest vulnerability due to the majority of their employees living in poverty. The persons around you have serious issues that could lead to insider terrorism of the other employees’ data.

So now it is the process of blame the foreign government when a majority of the US agencies created are the reason why there are vulnerabilities within the cybersecurity of this nation. They allow this to happen for a reason sometimes so they will no look as though they are snooping on their employees or gathering data on the US citizen. Well, I suppose there is nothing that can be done besides not using credit cards, only use cash, have cash hidden, and if that tanks have land or gold to trade for battering. This is all because of money and stocks.
