Digimon Adventure 2020: Episode 1 Review || AGUMON EVOLVED!

I started watching the Digimon Adventure 2020 reboot and decided to do an episode review of Episode 1. I really enjoyed the first episode and I look forward to watching Episode 2 and 3 and potentially doing reviews on those, if this is well received. So I hope you enjoy my Digimon Adventure 2020 Reaction in this Episode 1 Review.

Digimon Adventure 2020 is a brand new reboot of the original series, following Yagami Taichi, Ishida Yamato, Izumi Koshiro and the rest of the digi-destined, along with their Digimon partners, Agumon, Tentomon, Gabumon, etc.

In this episode of Digimon Adventure 2020, Taichi gets sucked into the digital world to put a stop to the swarming Argomon which is causing electronics in central Tokyo to go haywire. Taichi and Agumon must hunt down and destroy the Argomon.

In Episode 1 of Digimon Adventure 2020, one of the Argomon evolves into it's Champion form however, putting Taichi and Agumon at a disadvantage.
Using his Crest of Courage, Taichi gets Agumon to evolve into Greymon and they successfully defeat the Argomon Champion.

Digimon Adventure 2020 has a lot of potential and I'm looking forward to seeing where it goes in terms of story, considering this first episode was completely different to how the original 1999 anime began. Digimon Adventure 2020 Episode 1 especially was incredibly fun to watch.

My thoughts are that Digimon Adventure 2020 may be introducing the characters to Digimon, in a similar way to how they did it in the short movie released prior to the original anime show, where Taichi and Hikari are introduced to Agumon, and evolves it to Greymon to fight off against Parrotmon to save the city.

Argomon in-training and Argomon Champion forms were the villains of this episode. I have not watched anything beyond Digimon Adventure 02, but I believe Argomon's Ultimate and Mega forms were in some of the seasons following Digimon Adventure 02. It's pretty awesome to see his In-Training and Champion forms, whilst also getting a glance at its Rookie form.

I have not yet watched Episode 2 and 3 of Digimon Adventure 2020, but due to the virus outbreak, Episode 4 has been delayed. I hope everyone at TOEI stays safe.

Digimon Adventure 2020 is something that I think all Digimon Adventure fans should watch, especially since the art style is the same as the original Digimon Adventure. I look forward to seeing more from Digimon Adventure 2020. Especially since Agumon is as badass as ever.
