This is so sooo sooo comforting with garam chawal that I really have no words

Recipe :- serves 2-3

2 Boiled potatoes cut into pieces
1 whole red onion, sliced
1 chopped chillies
Salt to taste
1/2 -1 tsp amchur
1/2 teaspoon Kashmiri chilli powder
1 cups plain yogurt
Water to adjust consistency
1/3 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

For Tadka

1/8 teaspoon turmeric
1.5-2 Tbsp mustard oil or olive oil or ghee
1 Tbsp Kasturi Methi
1/2 tsp Kashmiri red chili powder
Mustard seeds 1/4 tsp
1 green chilli

Instructions:
1. In a bowl, add yogurt/curd.
2. Mix chilli powder, salt and amchur.
3. Mix diced boiled potatoes, chopped onions, green chillies and coriander.
4. Pour in a tempering of oil, kasturi methi, haldi and chilli powder.
5. Squeeze a lemon, if desired.
6. Serve with rice.

Its called aloo gadde majjiguli... In coastal karnataka brahmin houses they use to make this... U can also find it in different parts of india with different names... However its really yummy... I'm eating this from childhood...

Mam curd aur onion ko sath me nhi khana chahiye esse skin problems ho sakti hai because curd ki taseer cold hoti hai and onion ki taseer hot hoti hai that's why.... Aap google per bhi check kr skte hai .
