Great tips, also for solo guys, thank you. I have been to Bali many times and when I arrive I go to the drop off area and like a hitchhiker I hold up a karton board with "Grab to Sanur " . I always stay in Sanur, but every Grab driver that just dropped of a customer at te airport is happy to have a payed ride back. so for a little amount you get back.
Also still having the Grab or Gojek app on your phone let you order when you walk out of the airport, there is a gas station where I had pick up a few times :)
