From what apps you will need, money exchanging advice, bring TP with you when you travel, to telling the taxi driver to turn on meter, your advise is the same as I give to people. as a balinese i think this travelling guide is awesome, , love it, , for when to visit, if i can add something, u shud come to bali at local event is happen like annual bali art festival or penggrupukan. at penggrupukan (happen couple day ago) u will see ogoh-ogoh festival all around the island but denpasar have greatest event so make sure u check it. in next day u will experience silence day called Nyepi, all public area closed literally whole island shuts down so some ppl maybe see it boring but pls respect it. others event u can check it at google.
