2024 BMW R12 quick first ride: It's a cruiser, not an R12nineT!

I'm currently reviewing the BMW R12 Option 719 – nope, not the R12nineT, but the 95hp, A2 compliant-able cruiser-style version of the R12nineT. Will a 6'3" idiot fit on it? Does it still have the classic boxer character? Will it make me overshare about my genitals? At last, R12 in action. Thanks! How smooth is the quickshifter? I have the R1250R, which is an excellent bike, however, I find the quickshifter to be somewhat sluggish.

This is a very stylish BMW. Surprisingly with a classic boxer I would say. The dash looks very nice. Bar-end mirrors really fit there. Cool. I am glad that I am gonna try one soon. :) Got my like bro.

Happy days Lee. Welcome to real performance😂👍🏻 goodluck & keep up the practice. Don’t recommend just pulling the clutch in after every pull not a good habit. Same theory as the car, using the engine braking. Plenty of YT vids to watch mod1&2’s tests. Excited to see what bike vids are in the future

THis is such a handsome bike! Love it! Though, sitting on it the front of the seat eats into the inside of my leg which sucks as I dont have the same sense of "I fit on this bike" like I do with the R9T. Yours is the only review Ive seen on this new model. Glad your response was so positive as I will keep this on my radar. Cheers!

I took my R9t UGS in for new tires yesterday and saw the R12 for the 1st time. You're 6'3" and I'm 5'6" with a 30" inseam, at my height the R12 fits like a glove. I could easily have the seat kitted with some upgraded foam/gel and be quite happy with the comfort level. It's a great bike, I turned down the offer of test ride because I'd have ended up with a new bike in the garage most likely. Maybe next year....

The front fender and rear fender doesn’t match… I’d remove the rear fender and replace to something similar to the front, attached with same air gap between wheel and fender distance too. 👍

Am 6ft4 and really fancy the R12nineT or r1300r (if it eventually arrives) but my vanity says I don’t wanna look like Noddy on a little bike….is it gonna be too small.
