Anakin and Ahsoka | Daylight

"I will never let anyone hurt you Ahsoka, ever."

Well this episode just dropped. So many emotions, was never expecting to see the day that we would finally be getting live action Ahsoka and Anakin, throwbacks to the Clone Wars and more. I adore these characters. The Ahsoka show is very enjoyable so far. Anakin's and Ahska's fight scenes were heartbreaking. I put together this little video, got lots of big ones coming after the show ends.

In the fifth episode of Ahsoka we saw very clearly the balance of the dark and light sides in Anakin

The themes of fighting for your life, “I choose to live, ” Anakin’s own desire from a young age to “stop people from dying, ” all culminates beautifully in this tribute to our Star Wars heroes. Ahsoka learns from Anakin’s mistakes, not to allow herself to fall to the dark side or allow a corruption of her attachments to take her there. He was always trying to protect her, and she finally learned that lesson.

What strikes me about the flashbacks is how baby faced young Ahsoka is, the height difference between her actress and Hayden. It really makes you remember that she was *13* when she was dropped on the front lines of the Clone Wars. Anakin had to keep this little girl alive by teaching her to fight, raising her in violence half-disguised as peace, and my heart shatters for both of them, because he was, what, 23? A half child raising a child, fighting a pointless war, dancing on Palpatine’s puppet strings. Ugh, I wanna cry
Edit: HE WAS ACTUALLY YOUNGER???? LIKE 19??? First he was a slave, then he was being judged by the Council, he and Obi lost QuiGon, he had to live up to the expectations of the prophecy, he lost his mom, his arm, had to fight a war; anD ON TOP OF ALL THAT, PALPS WAS PULLING HIS STRINGS GROOMING HIM TO BE HIS PET ATTACK DOG NOW I REALLY WANNA CRY!!
